Should We Have Prefects At Tautoro?

Do you know that if we have prefects at Tautoro School it could help Tautoro School become the best school in New Zealand? Because great leaders have great behaviour and it would help younger students to be a better pupil at Tautoro. That is why I think we should have prefects at Tautoro School.

I think if we had prefects it would help the prefects of Tautoro School be better role models, prefects would help younger students, other students can look up to the prefects, other students might want to become a future prefect’s and it would help Tautoro School become the best school in New Zealand.

Firstly, it would help the prefects of Tautoro School be better role models for themselves and others. It would equip them with the leadership skills needed for the modern world.  Because the prefects would know what being a leader is like and when they're older, it would come to them naturally. That's how prefects would help people be better role models.

Secondly, prefects would support younger students whether it be inside or outside of the classroom. They can help inside the classroom by helping with websites like Manga High, Reading Eggs etc… And they can help outside the classroom by setting up games for the teina like Ki O Rahi, Rippa Rugby etc.. That's why I think prefects would be a good addition to our school.

Thirdly, other students can look up to them and follow in their footsteps to become a better pupil at Tautoro School. Because the prefects could show everyone else the right thing to do. For example, they could show other pupils the right thing to do in the playground. For instance, no fighting, no put downs etc… and showing people the right thing in class, i.e on the right site at the right time etc… that's why Tautoro School would benefit from prefects.

Fourthly, students might want to become a future perfect. This way, everyone would become a better pupil of Tautoro School. Because mostly everyone would know what it takes to be a leader and it would help them in the big wide world.

And that is why I think we should have prefects at Tautoro School.
